POSITION OPENING
Watauga County Project on Aging is accepting applications for the regular position of Home Delivered Meals Coordinator. Position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Home Delivered Meals program; assessing client needs; maintaining volunteers and delivery routes; delivering meals as needed; preparing and maintaining files and records; and preparing reports. Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, gerontology, sociology, psychology, or related field and considerable experience working with the elderly population. Salary grade 10, $61,062. County benefit package includes health insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave. Application deadline is Monday, February 23, 2026.
